Amazing! Unshielded ignition causing inductive sizzle on the microphone cable.
The crazy mike rig is a Coles Dynamic meant to fit right over the speaker’s mouth. It was developed for BBC formula one commentators. The chest plate holding it must be a field modification. Great stuff.
